Southern has rescheduled May graduation to August 9, according to Southern’s website. The ceremony is expected to be held in Iles Gym.
In an email to the 2020 class, graduates were told that the day’s schedule has not yet been finalized. However, they should check their Southern email for any updates, including plans for maintaining all safety for attendees.
“We know each of you have worked very hard to accomplish much in your time here at Southern,” the email reads. “We hope you will be able to attend this special graduation event with your loved ones to recognize and celebrate your achievements.”
Earlier this afternoon, Southern held an online pre-graduation celebration on their Facebook page.
