All of Heaven is rooting for you!

January is coming to an end, but there are still 11 more months to continue working towards accomplishing the goals you set for yourself in the very beginning of the year. Here are some Bible verses to motivate you to stay strong and committed. These verses are reminders that God and all of Heaven are still rooting for you.

  1. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” Remember that there is no growth without mistakes. If you messed up or abandoned the goals you set for yourself, give it another try. God doesn’t expect you to be perfect. In fact, if everything was perfect in your life, including yourself, where would God fit in the picture?

  2. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” If you feel like giving up, remember to hold tight to God and ask for His strength. The end of your strength is the beginning of His.

  3. Deuteronomy 31:6 is a reminder to be “strong and courageous.” If your new life goal requires you to get out of your comfort zone, do it with confidence. Growth and Comfort were never meant to be friends. The best version of you is on the other side of fear and discomfort.

  4. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not uncommon to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

Satan doesn’t want you to advance in your life. His goal is to keep you stagnant and uncommitted to anything that could lead you closer to becoming the person God designed you to be. Expect to encounter moments that hinder your growth, but don’t hesitate to push through it. The feeling of accomplishment is greater than the feeling of giving up.
