Election watch party

Kristen Vonnoh

The room was filled with voices, both from students and news anchors, as everyone packed into Brock 1010 to watch the results of the midterm elections. Out of the approximately 200 students that attended, 23% said that they voted in the midterm elections. “I think we can do a lot more [on campus] to encourage students to get involved,” said Rachel Williams-Smith, dean of the School of Journalism and Communication. “That is something I’m committed to doing in the next election.”
