A DIY Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

Fall is officially here, and we are all rejoicing in cooler temperatures and beautiful colors. Not to mention all those wonderful scents that come with the season.

Get into the season with this fall scrub that exfoliates your skin without damaging it, is rich in antioxidants and smells so good, you might be tempted to eat it (and technically you can if you are into that sort of thing).

With its yummy pumpkin spice scent, it also makes a wonderful gift that will only take you five minutes to create.

To make this scrub, just combine all of the ingredients below:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon or cinnamon bark essential oil

  • 1 tsp of nutmeg or nutmeg essential oil

  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/4 tsp of vitamin e (optional)

Then to use, scoop a small amount into your hands and scrub all over your face or body. Allow to sit on your skin for 3-4 minutes. Rinse well and use a clean towel to dry. You can use this scrub 2-3 times a week and if it is stored in an airtight container, it should last for several months.
