SALT prepares for evangelistic series

Natalie Boonstra

SALT students are getting ready for the upcoming evangelistic series, “What If?” by SALT program director Douglas Na’a.

The series opening night is Oct. 12, at the East Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Douglas will be presenting several different biblical topics, such as, “Is God Relevant in my Life?”, “What if the Devil was Sentenced to Prison?” and “What if I Fail?” The meetings will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening until closing night, Nov. 3.

The SALT students are going door-to-door meeting new people in the East Ridge area and gaining interests for Bible studies. These Bible workers in training are very excited to see people grow in a relationship with Jesus and have a deeper understanding of the Bible.

“There’s nothing cooler than seeing the sparkle in somebody’s eye when they click with God’s word,” said Jeremy Clark, a SALT student.

Not only are the students instrumental in inviting people to the series, but they will be participating in special music, song service and leading prayer. SALT students are receiving both training in evangelism and practical skills for ministry.
