Hot and holy tracks of 2018

Hiding Place — Tori Kelly Release Date: Sept. 14

On Sept. 14, Tori Kelly released her fourth anticipated album, “Hiding Place.” As a fan of her first EP, “Handmade Songs,” I was surprised by her change of style, but I honestly was not disappointed.

This album holds so much talent and passion, and the glory of God is appreciated in every single song. It’s inspiring to witness a pop artist use her God-given talent and present it as a gift right back to Him. Thanks to her, I now have a new Sabbath album to listen to.

Look Up Child — Lauren Daigle Release Date: Sept. 7

Lauren Daigle graced all her fans with her follow-up album, “Look Up Child,” on Sept. 7. Her first album, “How Can It Be,” had more than four Top Hit songs, and it seems the record is about to continue. I’ve come across many who say Daigle is the Adele of Christian music. God has definitely gifted her with a strong and powerful voice that is very recognizable.

“Look Up Child” has 13 tracks with positive and powerful messages about God that will be sure to uplift listeners throughout the ups and downs of their spiritual journey. This album is a reminder that when Satan is keeping your spirit low, all you need to do is look up and remember to whom you belong.
