Other interesting events took place at the Emmys this year.
There were constant claims throughout the ceremony that it was the most diverse awards ceremony yet, but many critics observed it to be quite the opposite.
After being in the industry for over 40 years, Henry Winkler–also known as Fonzie from the classic TV show “Happy Days”–finally won an Emmy for his role in the TV show “Barry”.
Lastly, television producer Glenn Weiss won an Emmy for Outstanding Directing and proceeded to propose to his girlfriend in front of a national audience.
