Don't Study Abroad in France

Are you a Freshman or Sophomore who still has no idea what degree you want to pursue? Are you an overachieving Junior on the verge of a nervous breakdown due to the stress of college life? Are you a motivated, goal oriented individual with big dreams and a passion for adventure? Are you a lover of the arts and sciences? No matter who you are, don’t even consider studying abroad in France. Instead, why not continue to settle for the same old status quo and spend all four years of your college experience stuck in a stuffy classroom listening to boring lectures and stressing out about how you're going to finish that research paper in time while attempting to study for those three different tests you have this week. No, don’t study abroad in France next year. Stay here like everyone else!

Do you want to increase your opportunity of finding employment after graduation and succeeding in your future career? If not, then don’t study abroad in France next year!

According to surveys conducted by IES Abroad alumni, “97% of study abroad students found employment within 12 months of graduation, when only 49% of college graduates found employment in the same period…Among study abroad alumni, 90% landed a job within 6 months.”

Another report by University World News as cited by University of California, Merced showed that students who study abroad have a “25% higher” starting salary than college graduates who do not study abroad and that “study abroad graduates out-earned their peers by 17%,” equating to approximately “$7,000 annually for US students and £3,120 for UK students.”

Do you want to learn a new global language while skiing in the French Alps, eating crêpes in Paris, or swimming along the sunny beaches in Cannes? If not, then don’t study abroad in France!

Learning to speak French is useful in every possible career path in the world. French is one of the major political languages of the world, used by the United Nations, the European Union, the International Olympic Committee, the Red Cross and thousands of other international organizations around the world.

La Francophonie (french speaking countries) now comprise 56 countries in the world which is more than the 53 English speaking Commonwealth countries. French is the only language besides English that is taught in every country of the world.

Do you want to visit some of the most beautiful cities in the world such as Paris, Rome, London, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Geneva and others? If not, then don’t study abroad next year in France!
